Zari Gram Sabha

Zari Gram Sabha was formed on 13th February 2013 under the PESA (Panchayat Extension for Scheduled Area) Act, 2017.

Five Action Groups have been formed under the Gram Sabha as per the requirements of the village. They are

​

1. Water Group

2. Peace Group

3. Forest Group

4. Resource and Management Group

5. Accounts and Finance Group

​

All the action groups have been formulated with equal participation of women members. Zari Gram Sabha also has a savings bank account, to ensure transparent governance and open new avenues for alternative revenue streams.
